The Cosmelan® method by mesoestetic acts on the cells responsible for skin color, stopping the production of color in those areas where there is excess production, achieving a disappearance or attenuation of the spots.

It causes an intensive and comprehensive depigmenting action that is highly effective on all types of skin pigmentation (melasmas or chloasmas, senile spots, pregnancy spots, sun spots, spots caused by oral contraceptives, etc.) Cosmelan® method can be started at any time of the year , as long as it is accompanied by daily use of the mesoestetic® Total Moisturizing Screen that protects from sun exposure without the treated spots reappearing. It is compatible with any skin phototype and with a high safety margin.

Results

In the first or second week after starting the cosmetic treatment with the Cosmelan® method, a notable improvement in the skin can already be observed. The reduction of the treated spots is detected, and in parallel, the appearance of brighter and rejuvenated skin is observed.

In 99% of cases with abnormal spots or hyperpigmentations located in the epidermis, the process of disappearing the spot is 95% effective.

For the treatments to take effect, maintenance at home is recommended and generally 1 session per year in the cabin.

Application protocol

As an authorized Cosmelan Mesoestetic depigmentation center, the depigmentation treatment will be carried out under supervision and in two phases.

In the first phase, a mask is applied under professional evaluation. The skin is then covered with a thick layer of the mask and left on the skin for several hours, which will vary depending on the skin phototype and the problem presented. The time can range between 8 and 12 hours and it is removed at home after the hours scheduled by the professional.

This second phase takes place in the private home. During this period, different products will be applied for a period of three weeks. The treatment should be continued with the Cosmelan 2 home cream, responsible for regulating the overproduction of melanin, as well as using Melan 130 depigmenting sunscreen. This way we prevent the spots from appearing again. Generally, the effects begin to be noticed from the first session.

How long does the depigmentation treatment last?
